Throughout my legal career I have also taught law, simply for the enjoyment of it. Law is rich with history and it is an absolutely fascinating subject that has far reaching significance into every aspect of society. I founded the Ridgecrest School of Law, after retiring from the bench, in order to continue assisting those students desiring a legal education, but perhaps not able to obtain it by attending one of the traditional legal institutions. This is most certainly true of working adults, and especially true in areas distant from the larger cities.

The school is a part-time, unaccredited but approved school, kept that way to keep tuition costs to a minimum. However, there is no sacrificing of the legal education. I enjoy being a legal mentor to my students, assuring that they are prepared for the First Year and Senior Bar Exams. I have found that this is an advantage for students taking the First Year Bar Exam, which allows you to sit for the Senior Bar Exam and become a fully-licensed attorney. My student's first year pass rate statistics are sometimes among the highest in the state.

Students are prepared for practice in a small town law practice, and are exposed to local attorneys. This is also a great advantage for graduates desiring to stay in the local area.

It is my hope to retain the small, apprenticeship atmosphere that was the standard practice of the past for forging new practitioners of law. You will learn the law and its practical application.

Welcome to the law!
